<image:title>Committee List - DISEC (Disarmament and International Security Committee)</image:title>
<image:caption>*Double Delegation Format As AI has dominated in the workplace and recreational sector alike, it has quietly been creating a new face of warfare. The rapid introduction of autonomous weapons and weaponization of AI may change the way warfare and cybercrimes are conducted, but the international community has failed to create comprehensive definitions or frameworks governing these new technologies. This committee will task delegates with creating a legal and ethical framework to prevent the unregulated and destructive use of rapidly evolving technologies used in both cyber and modern warfare. The debate will focus on issues at the nexus of international law, ethics and the rapid push of the technological evolution. Delegates must weigh regulatory constraints that limit technological progress and protect the individuals who may be harmed in their development.</image:caption>

<image:caption>*Double Delegation Format The year is 2030, and this decade has ushered in an era where missions to mine asteroids and the Moon for valuable resources are no longer confined to science fiction. However, as nations and private companies alike look towards the cosmos for resource extraction, the lack of international laws has created a "Wild West" in space. This committee will task delegates with creating a legal and ethical framework to prevent unregulated and destructive exploitation of natural resources in outer space. The debate will focus on addressing issues at the intersection of ethics, technology, and human progress. Delegates must weigh the benefits of accessing vast treasure troves of untapped resources against the costs of allowing nations, non-governmental entities, and corporations to ravage the pristine environments of outer space. The clock is ticking, and the framework established here will shape the very principles that will govern humanity's relationship with the final frontier.</image:caption>

<image:caption>*Double Delegation Format Rising sea levels are displacing entire island nations, and droughts are making agricultural regions uninhabitable. Yet people forced to flee climate disasters have no legal status under international refugee law. As we consider families forced to leave their homes behind, and those still unseen and unprotected under international law, we must ask ourselves: Will our idea of justice evolve with the world we’ve changed? The Economic and Social Council must address this growing crisis. Delegates will collaborate to improve humanitarian aid, support host countries, share responsibility for funding and resettlement, and explore whether new international frameworks are necessary. The storms will not wait. The world is watching. Delegates, it’s time to take action.</image:caption>

<image:title>Committee List - UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development)</image:title>
<image:caption>*Double Delegation Format When global markets face instability, developing economies are often hit the hardest. Economic disruptions can destabilize trade networks and widen inequalities between nations. For many countries, trade is directly tied to livelihoods, employment, and national development. The United Nations recognizes that in order for countries to not only recover but prosper, trade systems must be resilient, inclusive, and equitable. However, unbalanced supply chains, unequal access to technology, and limited participation of least developed countries in global markets threaten both national and international stability. These challenges jeopardize economic growth, food security, and sustainable development. This UNCTAD committee calls upon delegates to address the urgent and complex challenge of strengthening and modernizing trade systems to promote global equity and resilience. How can the international community create long-term, sustainable solutions that enhance supply chain security and close the digital trade gap, ensuring that all nations can participate fairly and fully in the global economy?</image:caption>

<image:title>Committee List - United Nations Trusteeship Council (1962)</image:title>
<image:caption>*Single Delegation Format As the world enters a new decade of political transformation in 1962, the UN Trusteeship Council has been left at a crossroads. With decolonization becoming mandated by the UN in 1960, the world order was drastically changing as former colonies were gaining independence one country at a time. In the process, an important question was raised: how and when should the international community strike a balance between granting political independence and ensuring the self-sufficiency of newly decolonized nations? For most colonies, education, industry, and economy relied almost entirely on the colonizing countries. What should be done to allow for the self-sufficiency of these colonies, if anything at all, to allow for a smooth decolonization process? Yet another pressing issue this committee faces is the question of humanitarian aid and relocalization for colonies made uninhabitable by colonizing powers, and potentially the prevention of future destruction. In this committee, delegates must navigate the tense political terrain between eroding empires and emerging nations, craft resolutions to assert a balance of global powers, and collaborate in order to ensure equitable and diplomatic solutions. Will the Trusteeship Council be able to champion true independence for all, or will it crumble as old empires reestablish their influence from under the rug?</image:caption>

      <image:title>Committee List - Human Rights Council (HRC)</image:title>
<image:caption>*Single Delegation Format The ability to access reliable information and exercise the freedom of the press is one of the most important, non-negotiable foundations of modern democracy. With the rise of the digital age, there has also been a spike in the spreading of false information, online censorship, and algorithms that suppress or amplify certain narratives, as well as advancements in artificial intelligence, which can make it difficult to know what to believe. Yet, the threats to the press are not only digital, as there are increasing levels of danger towards journalists in zones of active conflict. Ensuring their safety and protection while also allowing them to report freely is crucial, and this committee will seek solutions that establish standards to shield reporters from physical harm and allow them to preserve the integrity of the information they deliver, while also combating digital disinformation and online repression.</image:caption>

<image:caption>*This Committee will allow the use of Technology The year is 1786, and the newly formed United States of America is on the brink of collapse. In the years following the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation, America’s 13 colonies have enjoyed their sovereignty – but perhaps a little too much. An army of farmers led by Daniel Shays has just staged a violent rebellion against the Massachusetts government, leaving the Continental Congress watching from the sidelines with no money, army, or authority to intervene. Now, as delegates of the Continental Congress, you must grapple with the aftermath: Do you support the Massachusetts government during this period of upheaval? To what extent can you sympathize with the farmers' grievances about crushing taxes and debt? And most critically – can you prevent America from crumbling before it truly even begins?</image:caption>

<image:caption>*This Committee will allow the use of Technology The year is 2027, and the Academy has been forced to restructure after a catastrophic scandal at last year’s Oscars which exposed corruption and greed within the academy. Despite its reinvention, the Academy has lost its prestige and reputation leaving the world questioning whether Hollywood’s most iconic awards ceremony can ever recover. On top of that, the public is pushing for more change at this year's Oscars: more representation for international and smaller studios, dealing with AI in films, and a more transparent academy. In this committee delegates have to take charge to save the academy and plan the new and improved Oscars. Will the Academy be able to adapt or will it be blinded by the spotlight. A deadly new pathogen—Lamina Mortalis—is ravaging the American South and has begun appearing in isolated cases worldwide. The WHO faces an unprecedented crisis: this virus defies everything modern science understands. Its structure constantly mutates and adapts to each carrier's unique genetic code, rendering conventional treatments useless. The pathogen's origin remains a mystery as government leaders, scientists, and medical professionals scramble to chart a path forward. In this committee, delegates will coordinate containment measures, assess threats to global public health, and ensure equitable access to protective resources. <image:caption>In the early 1900s, the United States embarked on an ambitious search for suitable land to construct a canal connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. While Nicaragua was initially the leading candidate, competing interests and controversial business dealings shifted the project to Panama. Through the Hay-Bunau-Varilla Treaty of 1903, the US facilitated Panamanian independence from Colombia while subtly positioning itself as both protector of the new nation and controller of the canal zone. This committee will navigate the turbulent waters of early 20th-century imperialism and diplomacy as delegates address questions of sovereignty and the balance of power in the Americas. <image:caption>The Avatar has fallen. 100 years of war have ravaged the world and thrown it out of balance, with the Fire Nation finally conquering Ba Sing Se, the Earth Kingdom's only true stronghold. With the Avatar assassinated, the world is losing hope that peace is possible. Little do they know that the world can still be saved. On a stolen Fire Nation ship, Avatar Aang awakens from a healing coma, as his friends and allies mobilize to strike the Fire Nation on the Day of Black Sun, when firebenders lose their power. Meanwhile, the newly reinstated Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation deals with moral dilemmas and questions of honor as his father, Lord Ozai, along with his sister, Princess Azula, prepare to remake the world in the name of the Fire Nation once and for all with the arrival of the great Sozin's Comet. As tensions rise higher, the fate of the world will be decided by people across the Four Nations, and while it is certain that a new world order is to be established, it is impossible to predict where the balance will lie. It is up to the delegates to restore balance to the world through any means, no matter what they believe 'balance' should really look like.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Cannon fire dims, church bells cease, and Christendom sheds a tear as Rome has finally fallen. It is 1453 A.D. and the Ottoman Turks have finished a decades long conquest on the corpse of the Eastern Roman Empire, ending with the siege of the Imperial City of Constantinople. The death of Rome sends echoes throughout the Mediterranean world as nations prepare for the fires that are to come. In this crisis, Christian Kingdoms and Islamic Sultanates will cooperate to defend against the Ottoman Turks, or tear themselves apart with avarice and conquest. <image:caption>“All animals are equal—but some animals are more equal than others.” The revolution has triumphed. The humans are gone, and the animals now rule themselves under the banner of Animalism: a new order built on equality, labor, and shared prosperity. Yet as the farm rebuilds, power consolidates in the hooves of a few. Dissent is quashed, history is rewritten, and loyalty becomes the greatest virtue of all. A thinly veiled allegory of the Soviet Union after 1917, this Animal Farm committee thrusts delegates into the rise and corruption of a revolutionary state. <image:caption>MAMA MIA! It’s 1925 in Chicago: secret speakeasies are nestled deep into each street corner and jazz music is sweeping the nation. However, beneath the excitement of the roaring twenties, mysterious disappearances, dangerous disasters, and unforeseen deaths have Italian and Irish gangs at each others’ throats. Pressure is growing stronger on the government to crack down on bootleggers and fund investigations to shut down all gangs. As mafia crimes come to light, it’s up to you to navigate through the gangs’ various calling cards to solve their mysteries and manage to escape the bubbling criminal tension. <image:title>Committee List - The Age of Napoleon: A Continental Crisis</image:title>
<image:caption>The year is 1812. France’s glorious empire, one led by the greatest military mind Europe has ever seen, sits atop the peak of destiny. The influence of the imperial eagle’s outstretched wings spans from the beaches of Portugal to the fields of Poland, and the curtain of hegemony falls in shades of blue, red, and white over the continent. But this hegemony is not certain. In fact, it is anything but. Abroad, the great bear of Russia has awoken in defiance of Napoleon’s Continental System, only adding fuel to the fire of Britain’s persistent threat to true French domination. At home, the cost of constant war and authoritarian rule begins to wear on the conscious of a people who, merely two decades prior, lost hundreds of thousands of their friends, family, and neighbors in what they were told was a fight for Liberté, Égalité, and Fraternité. As key French diplomats, politicians, activists, community leaders, military officers, and rulers of various client states, it will be your duty to guide the most powerful nation under the stars through these potentially history-altering times. The fate of Europe lies at your feet, but even then, your heads are not secure on the necks upon which they stand. Your enemies close in from without and within, and time is limited, power is temporary, and the future, yet to be decided.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Committee List - Eterra: The Wild Hunt</image:title>
<image:caption>Eterra: The Wild Hunt is a medium fantasy setting that takes place in the fictional pseudo feudal world of Eterra. One thousand years ago an event known as The Great Eclipse happened, when two cosmic dimensions collided. These disparate dimensions left behind corruption on each other, tearing a fissure in reality itself. From this tear, things that were not meant to exist, became, leaping from the pages of old stories. Griffons, witches, centaurs, and many others emerged into the world, wreaking havoc. Despite the years passing, the places of existence occasionally align once more and another eclipse will happen, spilling out new terrors into the world. What began as a seemingly random pattern was studied by the Seren Academy, who have now been able to accurately plot and predict eclipses before they can happen. Now, whispers of a new threat to Eterra are common, allegedly riding the very skies themselves, and the future is once again uncertain. Delegates will assume one of a variety of roles embodying some of the most influential people on Eterra, each with their own secrets and ulterior motivations. Trust will be as rare as peaceful nights, and many will be brought to light. They will be tasked with addressing the ultimate question plaguing the land: What to do about the Wild Hunt?</image:caption>

<image:caption>As the Kosovo War nears its end, Kosovars, both Albanian and Serbian, face a new reality under UNMIK, the UN mission tasked with preventing renewed conflict. For Albanians, decades of Yugoslavian rule and now international oversight have left them without genuine representation, delaying their hopes for sovereignty and self-governance. For Serbs, who were once secure under Yugoslavian authority, UNMIK raises fears of losing Kosovo, which they see as central to their cultural identity. In this crisis, you, delegate, are to define Kosovo's future, whether as an independent nation or part of Serbia, while also addressing reparations for war-affected communities and the resettlement of refugees.</image:caption>
