Meet Secretariat
Maggie Jenkins | Secretary-General
Maggie is a rising Senior majoring in Business Administration and Public Policy. She started participating in Model UN during her freshman year of high school. Since then, she has competed in many different GAs and crisis-style committees. As a UNC student, she has served as a Chair, Crisis Director, and Under Secretary General for conferences hosted on campus. Outside the committee room, she enjoys spending time on the quad with friends, listening to podcasts, and going to concerts. Maggie is very excited about MUNCH and looking forward to making this the best one yet!
Colson Grimes | Director-General
Colson is a rising senior from Chapel Hill, NC studying Public Policy and History with a minor in French. He has been doing MUN since middle school and participated in MUNCH as a delegate. As a returning member of the MUNCH Secretariat team, he is excited to build on successes from MUNCH XXV. In his personal time he loves to read, talk with friends, and watch UNC sports. This summer he will be interning with an infrastructure modernization research group in Washington, DC. He looks forward to this being the best MUNCH yet and can not wait to see everyone in the spring.
Ruby Cain | Chief of Staff
Ruby is a Senior from Amherst, MA, majoring in Construction Engineering at NC State. She has participated in Model UN for the last 7 years. Since then Ruby has chaired, crisis-directed conferences hosted by UNC. Notably Ruby was a USG of Crisis for MUNCH XXV, last year’s conference. Aside from Model UN Ruby is the president of the Associated General Contractors club at NC State. Ruby enjoys going on hikes, writing letterboxd reviews, completing woodworking projects, and cheering on the Wolfpack. She is so excited to meet all of the delegates and have an amazing MUNCH!
Lindsay McRae | Chief Operations Officer
Lindsay is a junior from Greensboro, North Carolina. She is majoring in history with a focus on global relations and diplomatic history during the Cold War, with a minor in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. In addition to the MUNCH Secretariat, she previously served as head delegate for CarolinaMUN, UNC’s travel Model UN team, where she competes on the circuit in crisis committees; as well as serving as the Co-Crisis Director of UNCMUNC XV’s Ad Hoc committee. She is now the co-director of moMUNtum, a project dedicated to making Model UN more accessible. Outside of Model UN, she enjoys going to concerts, hanging out with friends, and traveling. She is looking forward to MUNCH XXVI and is excited to be configuring the internal workings of MUNCH this year!
Mia Holub | Director of Outreach
Mia and is a junior at UNC from Barbados majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish. She participated in MUN in high school and had a lot fun staffing the MUNCH conference last year! In her free time, she loves to hang out with friends, draw, and go on hikes. She is excited to work with everyone this year to facilitate a great conference!
Anika Rajesh | Director of Communications
Anika Rajesh is a UNC sophomore from Cary, North Carolina, majoring in Data Science with a minor in Statistics. She has participated in MUN conferences since middle school, and last year, she was the Crisis Director for MUNCH XXV's Chernobyl committee. In her free time, she enjoys exploring campus on walks with her friends, playing with her goldendoodle, painting, and watching comedy shows. She looks forward to serving on the MUNCH Secretariat this year and seeing what creative solutions delegates come up with at the conference!
Lily Fowler | USG of GA
Lily is a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill from Pittsboro, NC, double majoring in Global Studies & Women’s and Gender Studies. She has participated in MUN for 5 years and even attended MUNCH as a delegate twice! Last MUNCH, she was the head chair for UNEP. This is her first time on secretariat and she is so excited to work with everyone. Outside of MUN, she loves to watch movies, drink coffee, and go to antique stores. She is so excited for MUNCH and can’t wait to meet all the delegates. She hopes everyone has an amazing conference!
Kayla Giset | USG of GA
Kayla is a sophomore at UNC from Fort Lauderdale, FL majoring in Public Policy and Mandarin with a minor in Creative Writing. She has been doing MUN since her freshman year of high school as both a delegate and a chair, and this is her second MUNCH! She is the Co-Director of UNC’s chapter of MoMUNtum (ask her how to get involved) and a staffer for our foreign affairs journal, JFAC! Aside from Model UN, she is an avid LEGO-builder and movie reviewer (go visit thecinemagazine.com). She is immeasurably excited to help make this the best MUNCH yet!
Liam Kiley | USG of GAPs
Liam is a sophomore from Apex, North Carolina, majoring in Statistics and Political Science with a minor in music. He has participated in Model UN since High School and enjoys developing and running committees. Liam attended MUNCH as a delegate three times and went on to chair a committee for MUNCH XXV. Outside of MUNCH, he serves in student government as Chair of the Senate’s Rules and Judiciary Committee and is on the UNC Model UN travel team. He is excited to organize committees and make this the best MUNCH yet!
Tanvi Gaur | USG of GAPs
Tanvi is a sophomore from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She is double majoring in Applied Sciences and Global Studies, with a minor in Business Administration. She has participated in Model UN for seven years, from attending conferences (including MUNCH!) to staffing them to being Secretary General for the district middle school conference. She was a chair for MUNCH XXV and is looking forward to contributing on a larger scale this year. Aside from CIRA, she is in the swim club and does social media and marketing for the Department of Applied Physical Sciences. Her hobbies include hiking, traveling, reading, and cooking. She is truly excited to meet all the delegates at MUNCH XXVI and play a role in this incredible conference!
Rithik Kulkarni | USG of Crisis
Rithik is a Senior at NC State studying Computer Science from Charlotte, North Carolina. With over a decade of MUN experience, he founded NC State’s travel team three years ago and has been involved with MUNCH for eight years now, whether as staff or a delegate. In the last couple of MUNCH iterations, Rithik led The Island of Mr. E and The Last of Us ad-hoc committees. In his free time, he is a piano teacher/content creator and loves playing chess, sports, and video games with his friends. Rithik is incredibly excited to see how delegates will shape his final MUNCH experience!
Evan Seifer | USG of Crisis
Evan is a sophomore from Miami, FL, majoring in Business Administration and Data Science. He has been doing MUN ever since his freshman year of high school as a crisis specialist and has attended more conferences than he can remember (ask him which ones he has won). His first ever MUNCH was last year when he was crisis director for the Time Travel committee. Now, he is ready to serve as your USG of Crisis! Outside of MUN, he enjoys 3D modeling and making physical projects in the Makerspace. He is incredibly excited for MUNCH XXVI (the best one ever), and can not wait to meet all you delegates. He hopes everyone has a spectacular conference!
Sunhee Frecker | Director of Oversight
Sunhee is a junior from Wake Forest, NC, double majoring in PWAD (Peace, War, and Defense) and Economics. She has been involved in MUN since her freshman year of high school and continues to love attending and staffing conferences! She also serves as the Vice President for the Carolina International Relations Association, the organization that runs MUNCH. When she’s not raising her placard or cramming for the next econ midterm, you will find Sunhee on the beach or watching basketball with her friends (roll heels!). She loves everything music, fun, and adventure and is looking forward an awesome MUNCH!
Kaleb Horne | Director of Delegate Affairs
Kaleb is a Senior at UNC from Fayetteville, NC. He is majoring in Public Policy and European Studies. This is his second year in Model UN. He was a staffer for MUNCH, ACD for UNCMUNC, and a member of the CarolinaMUN travel team competing in Crisis and GA. Outside of Model UN, Kaleb enjoys long walks on the beach, buying overpriced lattes, reading, and eating. I cannot wait to help make the best MUNCH!
Shreya Hansalia | Director of Marketing
Shreya is a Junior at UNC studying Political Science and Economics with a minor in Women’s and Gender studies. She’s been involved in Model UN since her freshman year of high school and also served as the director of Marketing for MUNCH last year! Aside from MUN, she like to run, hike and read. She is looking forward to a wonderful MUNCH XXVI!
Jared Little | Director of Oversight
Jared is a senior at UNC from Hillsborough, NC, double majoring in PWAD (Peace, War, and Defense) and Medical Anthropology. He has been involved in MUN since his sophomore year of college, having participated in both UNCMUNC and MUNCH for the past two years as a crisis staffer, a crisis director, and even serving on the secretariat for MUNCH XXV. He has also been involved in CarolinaMUN for the past two years, travelling across the country with the team to compete at various conferences and serving on the leadership team last year. When he isn’t competing or staffing a conference, Jared can be found at the Dean Dome or Kenan Stadium cheering on the Heels or late-night adventures on Franklin Street with his friends. Jared loves everything from Taylor Swift and pop culture to travelling the world and is looking forward to creating the best MUNCH yet!
